Spent the whole day trying to figure out what outfit best fit the occasion. I have finally settled for a flower printed dress. I wasn't sure if I was over dressed for a munch but, there was no other occassion that I could ever see this dress being used for so why the hell not.
The pompador and bun I decided to rock on my head made me look like a 1950's commercial. I wasn't sure if this would do anything to hurt my chances with Mason, but having fun is always a priority for me.
Once again walking into the crowd, exchanging smiles with familiar strangers. I conveniently sat at an opening towards the end of the table, looking around to make eye contact with the waiter I felt a tap on my shoulder. A mixture of excitement and caution held me in a strange place I couldn't make out whether or not this woman was friend or foe. Gesturing to the empty chair next to me. "Hey , anyone sitting here?"
"No, go ahead."
She leaned towards me, and whispered. "Guess who I saw?"
Didn't take much for me to figure out. "Him?"
Her eyes widen with excitement. "Yeah, you really think he's a lawyer?"
"I don't know, but why would he lie?" She sucked her teeth giving me a look.
"Ah, come on he's to grown for that!"
"I don't know, I have seen and heard worse." Adjusting her blouse around her bosom.
"Well, he is right by the bar behind us."
I looked over my shoulder his eye moved quickly from the man he was conversing with right to me. He nodded at me, I smiled.
"Yup, he sees."
"Who is he talking to?" I had to be honest in the few words we have exchange I was absolutley drained. I couldn't help but wonder what this woman intent truly was. I swallowed.
"I don't know?"
Ignoring my tone..
"Ugh, He is getting in the way." I looked back at her stunned.
"What do you mean?"
Flicking her hair back...You know from seeing us." Im sure thats what she meant
Who is this ...there was a scent of cologne that cut my sentence off. It was a beautiful mixture of spice and musk.
"Spoke to soon." The scent gradually grew stronger, my interest peak as the atmosphere began to change , strands of hair stood on the back of my neck. I turn around too see Mason waiting behind us.
I wasn't sure how to greet him I mean he kissed my crotch. Do I kiss his back?
I stood up kissed him on the cheek. The aroma of his colonge was inticing. I just wanted to curl up agaisnt his body and just stay there.
Sadjyah, kissed increments away form his lips, she placed both hands on his should and took a deep whif.
"Oh wow, you smell really good."
He plopped himself right beside her, arms extended on the back of her chair. "Nice to see you two have made it, I was getting worried." He looked over to me.
"Well how is your night going so far?" For the life of me I didn't know what took over ...."better, since you came around." Sadjyah eyes scanned me over, I could see she was both surprised and deligthed." I knew right then, there was no going back. "Good to know I am making someone happy tonight." He looked over his shoulder "Can I get you both something to drink?" Sadjyah, making a comeback, "Why thank you sir, I'll have whatever your having."
At this point I was bored. "I'm good."
He paused determined ...."No, I offered, what are you drinking?"
"I don't drink liquor."
"No?" The smug look on his face made me feel, out of place.
"Really?"
I didn't' like his tone, but his eyes held steady on me....I finally gave in. "Okay sweet and sour amaretto." He seemed happy with the answer.
"Perfect." He quickly got up, making no room for any reservations.
